Okay, I didn't weigh in on the original controversy, but let me now. I want to say that Charlie is right. Partially because I want to support him in his impassioned stand against your craziness, but also because I think he is mostly right. The wrap is simply a low carb response to sandwiches. When the low carb diets started sweeping the nation, sandwich shops had to respond somehow. Salads don't have the hold-it-in-your-hand convenience of a sandwich, but you can't just wrap a sandwich in lettuce and call it good. But wait, the Mexicans have already solved this problem. The burrito! A wrap is simply a burrito inspired solution to the low carb lifestyle. So it is just as accurate to say that a wrap is a burrito (here is something to bring back those SAT memories)as it would be to say that Panda Express serves Chinese food or, this will blow your mind, Tara, the Olive Garden serves Italian. Yes, Olive Garden is Americanized Italian (not real Italian), and wraps are Americanized burritos. Long live the resistance!
